Census Ages
« on: Tuesday 21 December 04 19:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
Don't know if this one has been done before on here but as you know ages on censuses ( censii ? ) are a bit off sometimes but whats's the biggest discrepancy ( is that how you spell it ? )

I have an ancestor who in 1871 was 29,  by 1881 he'd aged 27 years and his wife had aged 21 years but their son only aged the required ten years. That kid must have been screwed up seeing his parents aged that rapidly. I'm sure somebody out there can beat that.

Dave :) :)

I had a lookup where the 15-y-old (at boarding school) had been given as 75. He must be in the running somewhere.
