1920 Passenger Record England to Australia
« on: Thursday 04 October 07 09:48 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a shipping passenger record for a

Gladys GASKELL who left England in 1920 and travelled to Australia and later New Zealand. She was born in 1898.  I don't know the ships name.

Any information would be gladly received.

Thanks

Hi SueChris
Gladys's arrival is not on the National Archives of Australia website.  If the ship simply stopped in Australia on way to NZ, she would not be recorded in Aust.  You could try the website www.findmypast.com which has passenger lists ex England from 1890 to 1930's. Unfortunately you will have to pay a fee, but you do get quite a lot of information.
