Help to Identify Uniform???

Hi there...

I'm hoping someone may be able to help me to identify the uniform in the picture I have attached...at this point I'm not certain who is in the photo, other than the fact it is a member of my "Close" family....could be a husband to one of the Close girls? 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well...at first glance, an RAF uniform with a checkered glengarry...

He may have been a Warrant Officer in the RAF as there appears to be some sort of badge on lower left sleeve...

But a Glengarry in RAF kit?!!!! oooh errr!!!

Thanks for the thot... These photo's were just given to me about 2 weeks ago from an older rellie...they belonged to my grt grandmtoher who died in the 40's....most of them are relatives from Belfast If that helps at all.

Yes, your man is wearing someone else's hat in the photo, possibly another relative's.  The hat could possibly be KOSB, as it looks quite square from the viewing angle.  Or, it could belong to another Scottish regiment that wore a diced glengarry, except the Argylls.  Neither is it Black Watch, Camerons or Scottish Rifles.
