Barwood family Walmer (different member)

As my request for info on Henry Barwood proved fruitless I am now going to concentrate on another member who I think could possibly be a brother. William Barwood born 1804/5 in Walmer Kent married Mary Jane? around 1827/1828. I do not know the specific area in which he married but Mary Jane is listed as being born in Sandwich Kent. He was a Carpenter by trade and died in 1867 at the age of 63. He had nine children altogether the eldest being another William born 1828 and the youngest Alfred born 1845. There is also another Barwood namely Hammond Ingram Barwood born 1806c in Walmer who could also be a brother of Henry and William. (William actually named one of his sons Ingram Hammond Harry presumably after him!)
Could someone/anyone who has access to parish records for the Walmer area please look and see if there are any baptisms for the Barwoods mentioned. I will be very grateful if anything is found regarding this family.

Hi Ladytodd

As far as I am aware, viewing parish records for Walmer requires a visit to a local library ie. Deal and/or the Canterbury Cathedral Archives so I suspect this would be why you haven't had an answer to your other request as yet

Ok - Didn't know that. I haven't had much luck with Henry for a very long time just thought I would try someone else to see if I got lucky with them.

I'm off to Dover library to do some work tomorrow. If I get chance I will have a quick look for you. Do you have any more details you could pass on to narrow the search time down a bit?

Hi Panda, It would be great if you could look. Im afraid that I do not have much else to add. It is mainly Henry Barwood 1810/11 that Im interested in but in my search of the Barwood name came across William born 1804c Walmer and  Hammond Ingram born 1806c Walmer, which I have assumed could be brothers of Henry. Cannot find a thing for Henry until 1851 when he is in Bucks working so obviously left the area as soon as he could. Anything you can find about any of the aforementioned would be great, baptism or marriages . Everytime I try to search on Ancestry the Barwoods in Norfolk always come up. Perhaps there is a link, who can say! All/any information gratefully received. Thank you LadyT

Sorry but somthing came up at the last minute and I had to sort it out. I  have added your dates etc to my list of notes to be checked and I will try again sometine this month to get through. I will keep you posted on the outcome.
