looking for the 1861 or 71 census for a alexander wilson born 13 april 1828 in peebles  scotland father robert. Alexander married elizabeth elliot in jedburgh 8 may 1861 he was a master mariner in london & was captain of the ship south.

along with alexander there was brothers

george...born 3/2/1830 peebles
william...christened 22/2/1835 peebles

can you tell us who the parents of elizabeth elliot was and what the addresses the couple used in 1861.

Hi Joe elizabeths father was thomas elliot born 1808 in jedburgh, alexander on his wedding cert it just said resident in london & that he was the master mariner of the ship called south. Thomas lived at 4 abbey bridgend jedburgh.
