remove stamp,on photo

Would it be posible to remove the passport stamps of this photo please.
The lady of the photo was in Budapest Hungary, during World War two, and saw all of her friends and neighbours killed also all belongings destroyed,this her passport photo is all that was left.

I am sorry to hear of your friends sad past, I do hope she found a good life wherever she finally settled.

Here is a quick one from me, if you tell us the colours we could try a colour, not sure if it would work very well or not, it is a very small pic  , might be worth a shot, if you friend doesn't have many pics..

Many thanks for your comments and help.
The lady in the photo was my Grt Aunt and I never saw her nor her brother my Grandfather and am still trying to find a photo of him,both born 1878-1880.
I only have her details from the passport which are ....
Green Eyes ,White hair,5ft 5 ins,tall .
