Peters in Balcombe - around 1700

I know that Richard Peters and Mary had 5 children in Balcombe - George (died 3 days),  Richard born 1709, George born 1711, Philadelphia 1712, Sarah 1715. But I do not know any further back such as Richard's parents or Mary's family name and history.

Can anyone help please?

Where have you looked?  There is no marriage for Richard Peters to a Mary in that area on the Sussex Marriage Index so that would imply that they married in another county.    Have you searched the Balcombe parish register in detail to see if there are more hints?  Wills?
