Anthony Naylor was landlord of the Devonshire Arms from 1865:

BAKEWELL  Petty Sessions: The constables of several townships of Bakewell were sworn for the ensuing year, and the overseers appointed for the same period:- The following transfer of alehouse licenses took place: The Devonshire Arms, Bakewell from William Hibbert to Anthony Naylor.
