Hi,

I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents & siblings of Ann Maria Rositer born circa 1820 in Corscombe.

Ann married William Sartin in 1848 at Porset Island.

Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.

The 1851 census for Evershot, Dorset shows the following

William Sartin (written as Sartain) - 36 - Journeyman mason - born at Rampisham
Ann Sartain - 32 - Wife - born at Corscombe
Joseph Sartain - 9 - Son - born at Corscombe (could be illegimate)
Hester Sartain - 2 - Daughter - born at Evershot
and
Hester Sartain - 89 - Widowed mother - Pauper (masons wife) born at Beaminster.
