Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could fit the last missing pieces of my puzzle for me?
John Briscoe was born in Pontesbury, Shrops in 1875 and married Elizabeth Gittins (b. 1879). I have no marriage date even after extensive searching. It could be Shrops or Lancs where Elizabeth was from.
The story passed down the family was that John had 6 children with Elizabeth (My Grandad being the eldest), and then at some time 'ran off to Blackpool with another Woman' !!!
I have tried to find a death date for him, but again, no success.
These are the only dates i need now to complete this family line so i would be grateful for any help.

(according to Lancashire BMD the wedding was at Blackpool St John)

Yes it may well be as my Grandad, their first child was born in Nov 1900.
