STONE
« on: Thursday 18 October 07 13:20 BST (UK) »
Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me find the parents and grandparents of rhoda, franics and kate stone

they are listed in the 1871 census and kates year of birth is 1871 and are all listed as granddaughters of the head of the household

the problem is that they occupy the first 3 pages of page 9 of the chirton census records

i haven't been able to get access to page 8 but would presume that the individuals listed on bottom of page 8 should be their family

i'd really appreciate any help that anyone could give

thanks

jodie

Hi Jodie

I believe your Stone family is a branch of my Stone family. Perhaps we could swap information? I have the family back to c1700 in Wilsford, my 6x gt grandfather.

That would be fantastic
I'm afraid I haven't gone back very far myself.
I'll strat with my great grandparents:
Wilfred Nash b.1898 and Constance Neate b.1903
Wilfred's parents were...
Arthur Naish c.1869 and Kate Stone b.1871
From here I have Kate's siblings (Rhoda 1866, Francis 1868 and Sydney c.1887 (my grandma remembers him in particular but i can't find a record)), her parents (Robert and Elizabeth) and grandmother (Mary)

Yes I wondered that Tati.

I've just sent Jodie a report from my FTM, so hopefully that will help. It seems that we share 6x Gt grandparents. :)

Can you let me know that you've got it ok Jodie?
