George Paterson & Isabella Findley

Good afternoon,
I am trying to find any info regarding the above two families:
George and Isabella had a daughter - Jane Paterson - born 01 Aug 1839 and we believe they were married 7th Dec 1838 in King Edward.
Jane then married George Hay - 13th June 1863 - also King Edward.(They were my maternal Great Grandfather/mother.

Many thanks for any help or information to go any further back.

George Paterson  47               Ag. Lab.              b. Boyndie
Isobel Paterson   45                                          b. New Deer
Christian Paterson  22 (Unmarried)                   b. King Edward
Jane Paterson  11                    Scholar             b. Turriff
William Paterson  7                                          b. King Edward
Christian Anderson  1 (Grand-daughter)           b. King Edward

Hi again Colin,

George and Isobel had another child - John b. 13 Jul 1837.  As he is not shown in the 1851 Census he may have died young.
The IGI has two possibles for the birth and parentage of George and Isobel:
George b. 1 Apr 1804 New Deer (Parents: George P. & Isobel Cheyne)
Isobel b. 23 Apr 1802 Foveran (Parents: John F. & Elspet McLeod)

Thank you very much. That gives me something to check, at least if I can get a Marriage Cert., it might have some information as well.

Please disregard my previous suggestion that there were two possibilities for the birth of George Paterson. There is a  much more likely candidate who was born at Boyndie (which agrees with his place of birth given in the Census).

George Paterson & Janet Clarke had the following family:
John 14 Jan 1798 Boyndie, Banff.
George 25 Apr 1802 Boyndie.
Andrew 31 Oct 1804 Boyndie.
William 9 Jul 1807 Auchterless, Aberdeen.
Christine 22 Apr 1809 Auchterless.
