Oh dear, I'm the last one to ask!   ???

I'll have a think about it.  ::)

Can we all wear badges or something with our user names on, so we can spot each other easily? Otherwise, I might be peering closely at everyone and frightening them away. ;D ;D

I seem to remember some one explaining how to make badges using the logo from the site. Don't worry Bev we'll soon find each other you can see my photo on my web site short and round and hopefully wearing a smile  ;D What a shame Romilly  wish you could come we'll tell you all about it and hope for another chance to meet you soon.
I love the maritime museum but the cafe was very limited.
I also liked the tram shed and has any one been to the 1940 exhibition or the Dylan Thomas center?
Swansea has a great park and ride I do hope a few more can make it.
I'm really looking forward to the chance to meet.

I managed two visits to Swansea last year Trees, & really enjoyed it. (A first for me, - I'd never been there before).

There are so many pubs/restaurants/cafes etc...that its hard to know what to recommend. (I'm sure that one of the people who actually lives there will be able to suggest somewhere good).

We managed to take in the Maritime Museum & the Dylan Thomas Centre, (which has a really good exhibition about his life & works, also a bookshop & cafe). Also of course taking in all of the places where my family lived in Swansea...

There are some good maps of Swansea city centre on the web, - it might be an idea to post one, so that people know where to meet up?

Best Wishes, Romilly.

For lunch you could try Amore (Princess Way), or on Wind Street - Chelsea Cafe, La Tasca, the Italian place on the corner at Green Dragon Lane (left as you go up Wind Street). Most of the pubs on Wind Street do a nice meal and the No Sign Wine Bar is good and a little out of the ordinary. The Cross Keys (Princess Way) is OK too.

All of these are 5-7 minutes from the Museum.
