Isabella Jones (b.1887 in Kendal)

I am trying to trace Isabella's Mother - Mary who was born in 1865 in Allithwarte, Lancs and married Charles Jones (b. 1865). Anything you can tell me would be a real help.

Hi Erica,

I *think* the Lancashire place should read Allithwaite. The 1881 census shows several Marys born ca. 1865 Allithwaite.
 
The safest way would be to order Isabella's birth cert, which would give Mary's maiden name:
Isabella Jones, Mar 1887, Kendal 10b 679   

(However I can see a very tempting marriage:
Sep 1884 Kendal
Charles William Jones - Mary Atkinson

but can't ID a Mary Atkinson born Allithwaite ...

Hi,

I ordered Isabella Joneses Birth cert and her Mother is indeed Mary ATKINSON!
As i have no access to census info etc i wondered if anyone could do a trace on her and her family? I know she was born c1865, either in Allithwaite, Lancs or Westmorland (?) and married Charles William Jones (b. 1865) in Kendal in Sept 1884.
Sorry i haven't got a lot for you to go on.
I would appreciate any help with more information.

Good news! 

I see 1891 says Allithwaite and 1901 gives Upper Allithwaite for Mary's birth. How about this one?
(genuki tells me CARTMEL-FELL, a township-chapelry in Cartmel parish, Lancashire and ALLITHWAITE, two townships and a chapelry in Cartmel parish, Lancashire)
