Can anyone please clarify something for me?

I have Betsey Dancer born c. 1813 Stourbridge to parents William Dancer and Elizabeth Richards.

I have Betsey marrying a William Pedie on Sept. 28, 1831 Walsall noted down but I have no note re. the source of this and don't recall.

I also have Betsey Dancer marrying George Cosens in Stourbridge on March 23, 1841.  It says Betsey Dancer not Betsey Pedie.

I am wondering if my first note about her earlier marriage is incorrect or if she was widowed but remarried using her maiden name??

Can anyone please help me with this?

Or there are two Betsey Dancers (cousins or something)

Have you looked for William Pedie with wife Betsey, and George Cosens with wife Betsey on later censuses? If they are both there, then there are 2 Betseys. If only george, then needs more investigating.
