Hi Kerry 1212

It is a possibility one generation after my post the Fulthorp (inc Ralph Morton's daughter) do marry into a Hall family.

I will investigate further.

Thanks again

Hi Kerry 1212,

Do you have anything on the Luke family? They are generally from Wheatley Hill, Thornley, Cassop areas of Durham.

Many thanks,

Russ

Names you have on your list which I am interested in are: Maddison and Turton. Didn't notice Ridley though.
my Maddison's went to Australia, then to new Zealand where he was a miner as well.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.
Rainy :) :) :)
Ps. Have since found our Edward Maddison's family, interested in his sibling who would have been Coal miners as well. Can give their names if necessary to see if they are on your list. His father William.
Many thanks Rainy  ;) ;)

Hi Kerry,
I have marriage certificates for family members in 1918/20 stating that the sons who were getting married and their fathers were miner's in County of Durham...the names are Robson and Johnson, I also believe that some of my Marshall family were also Miners and they were all in that area.

If you had anything on these families, I would appreciate it.

I have a photo of my fathers family I believe that it was taken some where in South Shield...around 1920's It is a group photo and looks like a work group of men and my Grandfather, dad and uncles are in it ....can you post photos on this site? Happy to share someone in the group might recognise their family member in it.

Anyway, Regards,
Isabel, Australia. :)
