Thanks for all your work...the links are great.  I certainly understand, it all gets a little confusing sometimes

Woburn Sands / Hogsty End is a bit of a minefield, as it has only had its own church, St Michaels, since 1867.  The Church stands in Beds (Aspley Heath) but most of Woburn Sands is in Bucks.....

Before then, you could have gone to Wavendon (Bucks) , Bow Brickhill (Bucks), Aspley Guise (Beds) or Woburn (Beds). There are also other local churchs in other local villages, and more chapels and non-conformist meetings than I care to think about!

All the publish-able St Michaels registers are online at www.mkheritage.co.uk/wsc (my site) as well as part of the 1851 Census (the Bucks side) which The Hobbs are not on.

If I can help at all, please ask.

Paul

Plug?!?  I like to call it "professional product placement"! lol  :D  You can't beat a good hit report!

With all the boundaries that cross in Woburn Sands, I can understand the frustration of family history researchers, so I help if I can.  Any local research involves trips to both Bedford and Aylesbury archives.

Its bad enough that the place changed its name!

Yours are a bit before the time I specialise in, but I'll keep an eye out.

I am looking for parents and siblings to Mary Ann Hobbs.  Born 18 Sep 1825 in Bow Brickhill, Buckinghamshire. Grandparents would be great also.  I have all the info after her marriage.

She married Jeremiah Perry in Jan 1845 in Newport Pagnell, Buck

Thanks so much :)

Sandy
