Would someone kindly post the 1841 census information for:

William Pedie b. c. 1801 Scotland residing in Staffordshire in 1841.

Is it usual to have an S in the 'born in County' column.  I don't think I've seen that before ?

its clearly Elizabeth, with a tail on the z .... and age 8, tis the lass on next line who is 14

Look at the column header description.

1st column is a Y or N for 'Born in same County' question.

2nd column is for Scottish, Irish or 'Foreign Parts origins ...

 :)
