 Hi Catherine: thanks again for your help and guidance.

 I will post on the message boards for the Hague girls and hope someone responds.
If nothing happens there, perhaps I'll  try and pursue another branch of the family.

It is very difficult to trace  family when living on another continent, not to mention expensive.
However, I remain hopeful that I'll find a connection that will lead me to family in the 20th century.

Hi Bev,

You could also post your Hague family on GenesReunited and see if any descendants get in touch. I know the site gets a lot of bad press sometimes but I've always found it really good and have two pages of cousins from putting some of my tree on there!
