1841 census lookup for James Anderson

Could I please ask if anyone can find James Anderson on the 1841 census, he lived  at  68 Potter Row Edinburgh, and would have been in his forties or fifties, sorry not much to go on.

What was his occupation - any idea?  Wife's name?  Can't find one at Potter Row at the moment.

Thanks for replying. On his daughters marriage cert of 1834 he was listed as a cow feeder, sorry don't know wifes name. After her marriage his daughter catherine moved to Logierait, I have her on the 1841 census at Dowally.

Thanks Nell, that could be him, his daughter was 22 in 1841 and was married in the parish of St.Cuthberts.

shelia james anderson is my relative as well he lived here in markfield leicester as a stone cutter /primitive methodist society preacher he had broters and sisters  edgar anderson who was a sunday school teacher .penny anderson.1886 baptism fionna anderson as the dauther of james anderson &eliza anderson is wife.also a daugter sarah dorothy dau 9.

Hi Danone, I don't know if we both have the same James Anderson, the one I am looking for had a daughter Catherine who married Daniel Ferguson in 1834 at St.Cuthberts parish, they lived in Logieriat and Dowally Perthshire, and in 1859 moved to New Zealand. I am trying to trace Catherine's mother I know her father was James from the marriage cert and was a cowfeeder at 68 Potter Row Edinburgh. Do you think this is the same James Anderson as you are descended from?
