Mary Bevan Bodice

I am trying to find any census either 1841 or 1851 with Mary's family on it she was born 1856 Shifnall married Charles Henry Mansell 1876 in Coleshill.Died 1889.Her fathers name was Edwin Bevan Bodice.Bodice was also spelt Boddis.

              I have found on familysearch.org Mary Ann Bevan Boddis Ch. 26/10/1856 Shifnal father Edwin Bevan Boddis mother Jane.When Mary Ann married my great grandad she spelt it Bodice and her father on the marriage certificate.Billy

So it looks like Edwin maried jane Higgs -still haven't located them in any census

Because of the double name it is difficult to search I have tried both names but not a lot of joy.Now that you have found they married in 1855 they should be in a census somewhere in 1861 and 1871 before Mary married in 1876.They might have moved to Coleshill area thats where the marriage was her father was a Gasman.Billy

I know Mary was born in Shifnal but I dont know where her father came from.Jane Higgs could be from anywhere as well there are quite a few of them.I have had a search around.I have found an Edwin Boddis Ch. 2/10/1870 Coleshill father Edwin Bevin Boddis,mother Jane so I would think thats Mary's younger brother.Somewhere along the line Edwin seniors mother might have been a Bevan unless its further back than that.
