Looking for John Kerrisk?? Carlow, Kerry Faranford, Kilarney born 1/9/1857 Came to Australia on board the Seipa - origins London and Queenstown 21 when he sailed. Settled in Rockhampton and around Charters Towers.
Father Jerrimah Kerrisk could have been Demetrius
Mother Mary Maher or Johanna O'Mara
can not find any record back in Ireland. Any help would be appreciated
 :)

What denomination was John?

You'll have to rely on Church records as civil registration in Ireland was not introduced until 1864. Non Catholic marriages were registered from 1845 onwards. When registration for BDMS started in 1864 some people didn't bother with the registration for a few years after that date. Keep your fingers crossed that church records still exist.
