I have a few Wyatts from Great and Little Oakley near Wix. Eventually they went to Harwich.

Hi Ninky,

My Wyatts are some what of a mystery.  My Gt Gt Grandmother maiden name was Wyatt... however, I researched into this along time ago and I may have possibly found out that she changed her name from Wyard.

Her name is Helen Hephzibah Wyatt b1864 in Suffolk and married Harry Hope Bragg.

Does this ring any bells for you?

Hi Thunder Monkey,

I have an Essex Warner line.

At the moment it starts off with a 1740 marriage in Chelmsford, the couple, John Warner and Jane/Jenny Barker, then raise three children in Gt Baddow, probably more elsewhere.

One of those three children, my ancestor Robert Warner, surfaces in Gt Wakering where he marries Mary Cornwall in 1769, that couple baptise their nine children in Sandon, their daughter Sarah married into my Card line.

Any of those places relate to your Warners?

Hi Findem,

The earliest Warner I have is a John Warner b1809 in Gt Bromley who married Maria Jaggard.
I believe John had a brother called George b1821.
John's children were:

John, Keziah, George, William, Thomas, Betsy, Maria.

Is there any connection?

William Waring Dove that I am chasing was probably born about 1822. I have a lot more to find out about him yet, it was trying to find out about my gtgrandmother that lead me to him, The progress of the chase is here;   http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,360021.20.html

Hi Thunder Monkey,

No connection at the moment, I'm not aware of any of my lot being in the Gt Bromley area, but when you get back a generation beyond John 1809 who knows?  I haven't researched the siblings of my Warner ancestors, so who they married and where they went I have no idea, been too busy chasing ancestors.

John Warner and Elizabeth Sewell married at Sandon in 1802, they had nine children 1803 to 1822 but not one was named John as you might expect, nor one named Elizabeth for that matter.  There are a couple of gaps 1803 to 1808 and 1814 to 1818 when another child or two could have been born but to date I haven't found any.

Regards.
Concentrating currently on:
Essex: Card, Harris, Stowell, Theobald/Tibbles & Turner.
Norfolk: Beale, Cork & Dalton.
Yorkshire: Oswald Sturdy birth/baptism c1708, Oswald where the devil are you?

Ronnie,
Thank you for the reply.
I remember doing my Cardy line when I first started out a few years back so I may get round to checking the line again.  I will keep you in mind mate.

Cheers again.

Thank you for checking up anyway.  No doubt i'll stumble across the Warners eventually.

Hopefully speak to you again soon.
