John RYAN and Honour O'NEILL in Kilrush
« on: Saturday 27 October 07 04:55 BST (UK) »
GDAY:)
My gggrandfather was MICHAEL RYAN born circa 1841 in co Clare Ireland, father JOHN RYAN
He came here as a Single person, no other Family or siblings with him to South Australia in 1864
Whilst looking on the Clare Library site i found a Marriage for a JOHN RYAN and HONOUR ONEILL in Kilrush Union in 1839
I have heard Family Mention of KILRUSH as from whence one of My Clare Lines came from
Is anyone researching this family please
And Also My Michael Ryans First Daughter was Called HONORA Ryan, and with Irish Naming traditions is it the first Born Daughter named after the GrandMother
Thanks
Regards
cathy:)
