I have a Charles Henry Snow who was apparently a publican, living in Ilford on the 1891 census. Can't find him in any of the pubs listed here though :-\
Eaton (Woughton on the Green, Doncaster and N. London), Davis(Shinfield and London), Harrington (Ireland and London), Sutcliffe (Todmorden and London), Williams, Hollingsworth (Thaxted), Lane (Rotherhithe), Fuller (Chesterton, Cambs), Dilley (who knows where????)

Hi,
No doubt he was a beer retailer. If you can provide an address in 1891, this may help. Many of the early beer houses eventually transpired into the modern pub as we know them. Others were just an early off licence.

Hi Kevan - do you have a pic of the Foresters Arms in Loughton (Baldwin's Hill)?  I can send you one if you would like it.

Hi Ceeoh,
              Apparently not - http://londonpublichouse.com/essexpubs/Loughton/forester.shtml

All piccies and other information are very welcome. I am sure the list does not mind me asking this be sent to one of my emails on the site (at bottom of each page).

Hi again Kevan

Just had a look at the Loughton site - Forester's Arms - and see you have added on the names of the licencees up to 1933.  Very many thanks, this gives me info on the family that I did not have.

Regards

Ceeoh

Sorry Kevan, I should have checked the census again BEFORE I posted ::) Charles H Snow was a RETIRED publican in 1891 living at Femdale, High Road, Ilford, Barking Side

On the 1881 census his occupation is listed as "None" where he was living at Wilton Road, Barking.

If he was ever a publican it must have been between 1881 and 1891

Hi,
Not an easy one, I found him in 1871, a widow at Brook Hill, Upminster; search for Sarah Snow born 1864 Surrey, if you do not have this. I do not have a Charles Snow listed for the date range in the Pubs, my search engines on the site are pretty good.
