Berwick address
« on: Monday 29 October 07 15:11 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find out where around 1870 "Raprie or Raprice House" Berwick on Tweed was and what it was.

Does anyone know what was at 6 Hatters Lane, Berwick in about 1870/1900.
Found Hatters Lane on map of Berwick on Tweed but no census ref. to check what or who was at No.6.

Can anyone tell me ?

4 6 and 8 are one residence I think

1891 RG12 4267  111 p16 Edward and Elizabeth Dawson age 70

He is at no4 in 1881    RG11 5130   23  p40    but there is no 6 and 8

and still there in 1871  RG10 5183  22 p37  but just hatters Lane

a cordwainer throughout.

Thanks for that.

I have a 1871 ref for "Raprie or Raprice House" no address except Berwick on Tweed.

I am trying to find out if 6 Hatters Lane and "Raprie House" where the same.
