Hi Gillian

Sorry, not as much success yet on these.  There are qite a large group of  Robinsons in the closest Parish registers, but not to this couple.  I'll have a look in the nonconformists, and a few others though.

We'll get there!

Best wishes.

Hi Gillian

You're welcome.

I'd forgotten about the certificates though.  They should shed some light on the subject!

That'll be exciting.

Best wishes

Hi All,

I have just learnt that the children were not baptised but their births were registered in a Quaker meeting house Pardshaw.

Regards,

Gillian

Hi Gillian

Thank you for updating me.  I actually saw the comment on the other thread.  I've seen those Quaker records when looking for another family but not had chance to go back since the last comment on here.

What I didn't realise though, which is really useful to know is the details about the Quakers which have been added to your other thread.

It's brillliant your finally finding a link and I'm enjoying the story.

I hope I'll get back to the record office eventually so when you get everything together and know what you need next let me know if you'd like a look up.  If you have a date, I can look up now in a newspaper and just have a check in the registers later.

God luck!

I bet you were excited wgen you saw John's first post!

Best wishes

Emms :) :) :)

Hi Emms,

Yes I was excited and surprised about the Quaker connection. My family knew nothing about it!!

It just shows that you wait long enough you get there eventually!

Gillian
