Hi Sirius,

There you are, you were just a slip of a lad!  Now to do a link. find the end of the thread.

Right click  [will give you a little menu] on the top bar and copy the heading there after http//www etc then do your message and paste via right click or edit in the body of the message.

When you do the preview, it  will show up blue, and shorter, give it a whirl!  You have to learn something new everyday!

Hi Rabbit B

I hope this is it, I thought it was some automatic process built in to rootschat to put the link on as
I already knew how to do copy and paste ... still you can never learn to much.

Hi Sirius,

That is 'perfick'.  Thanks pal!

See it was easy peasy wasn't it!

My Gran used to say that knowledge was never a burden to carry.  I think that you should go on learning all your life!  One friend of mine was 92 when she started to learn ancient Greek, she wanted to read a book left to her by her uncle.  She did it too.   8)

When I did the Technology course with the OU I met an old boy of 78, doing that course and the maths! Eke!  he laughed and said that he did not have as much time as I did to finish it all. said that he found the technology difficult, it was a doddle compared to the maths!

Hi Sirius,

Thought that you like to know that I had a moan at my ISPS about everything, the connection problems had got much worse.

They supplied a new modem and splitter, so far so good, my speed is up, better than I have ever had.

So far in last the 24 hours I have not had anything happen in the way of a disconnect! which is marvelous!

Fingers crossed this will solve the problem!

Thanks for all your support!

Hi Sirius,

Have not lost connection at all since new modem went in.  I rang the ISPS and told them, I got a months credit as well.

Thanked them for all their trouble and got the name of a Supervisor to go to in the event of any more problems!

Thanks for all your help! It was very much appreciated. Chances are that the line was sorted as well, by that engineer that I told you about!

Can't believe my luck!  Hope it holds!   ;)
