Mary Kennedy or Sheila Allard??

Looking for some information to close the chapter on my Great Uncle who emigrated to Canada. Bertram Allard b: 3 May 1888, Brook Cottage, Loose, Kent, d: 27 Nov 1977, Victoria. Married Florence McKenzie Ross at Port Alberni in 1913. They had a daughter Sheila Allard. Divorced Florence in Dec 1960 due to Florence having severe dementia and being place in a care home. He then married Mary Allard (Nee Kennedy) and were living at 2-919 Vancouver Street, Victoria.

There is a death record 1977/11/27 for Bertram Percy Allard in Victoria age 89 in

Have you obtained this record? It would provide a few details on him but not much about his wife other than her name and the address they were living at. I can't find a death record for Mary Allard.

I have all the details on the death of Bertram Allard and it was his wife Mary that was the informant and that is also where I obtained the address as that is where they were living. She was supposedly a librarian, maybe for the Canadian military academy and also quite an artist who did exhibit her work. She visited the UK with Bertram in 1964 for a few weeks (belated honeymoon!) and her name before marriage was Mary Kennedy. That is really all that I know about her and I know nothing of the daughter of Bertram Sheila apart from the fact that she was the informant of her mothers death and was living at 971 Arundel Drive, Victoria at the time and had nice writing by looking at the signature!

Any information at all on either woman would be most appreciated.

There is a burial of a Shiela in Victoria, BC. Do you know her full name? Seeing Shiela's mother's surname was Ross, it sure looks like this could be her.

I would say that is definitely her Linda, does it give any age or date of death, or burial. that closes the book on her as I presume I'm not sure why that she was single.
Just Mary Kennedy (Allard) now and then I can close the chapter on Uncle Bertram.

That is just brilliant, how you found that information I will never know, but I am really glad that you did. Thank you very much indeed. I presume that 'Molly' has sadly probably passed away by now, so I would love to find out when, try and get a copy of her marriage certificate and even more a photo of one of her water colours. As I said she apparently exhibited. There must also be a photo of her somewhere getting an award, graduation, first librarian or something like that.
Gosh I'm all excited as I did not know anything about her at all until about ten minutes ago. Thanks again, and any further assitance would be much appreciated. Still Sheila to find as well, almost forgot about her!
