I have enjoyed this thread. These books seem like ones my daughter would love, very much into mythical creatures, with mermaids being one of the faves. I am going to write down a lot of these titles.

and glad to see Rootschatters came through again. It doesn't matter the topic, you guys are great.

Helen Cresswell wrote some really good books. Anyone remember her Lizzie Dripping series ?  ;D
