Avon is a small hamlet approximately 3 miles from Christian Malford. Its name is taken from the Anglo-Saxon for river which is avon. The river avon runs through the edge of the hamlet. If you look at Google Maps you will find it south of Christian Malford. Areas close to it are Foxham and East Tytherton.
