Jedburgh lookup please Jennet HOOD

Jennet Hood was born about 1812, the family says she is from Jedburgh.
 I have checked the Jedburgh Associate Congregation records and the
 and  the Church of Scotland. Parish Church of Jedburgh (Roxburghshire) but I believe there are other church records for that area at the time. I would appreciate any help in finding this baptism/birth record.

Can't find a birth for Jennet/Janet Hood in Jedburgh but i have this one.
4/11/1812 Janet hood to Daniel Hood/Jane Gunn at Canongate Edinburgh.
Is it possible someone confused this with Cannongate, Jedburgh?

No, I don't think it would be the same one, I am sorry, the information I have is very vague. The Jedburgh reference is just a family story, no mention of Castlegate/Cannongate or Edinburgh. On her marriage record her father is William Hood, a carpenter.  There is a William/Eleanor Hood family in Coldstream, just across the border from her marriage parish of Kirknewton. I believe this family to be hers based on further census records and parish records in England which show evidence of the family connected in a later generation. I just cannot find her birth record. The rest of the Coldstream family are baptised there. There is another William Hood in Coldstream, though not a carpenter who had a daughter Jane, but this daughter was with them in the 1851 census while mine was living in Longhirst Northumberland.
