tug boat owners

Hi can anyone help, I am trying to find any info on tug boat owners in newcastle I am doing my husbands family tree all of his family lived in newcastle ,on all of the census they are watermen ,they are called jamieson .family has it they owned two tug boats one called the friends and the other was called the george we tried the maritime office at newcastle but it was closed is there anywhere else we can find more info please

Hi I have found the site but nothing on the jamiesons and there tug boats ,even in the 1841 census i have james jamieson born 1815 living in clarence street northumberland all saints and he is a waterman ,I even have the family in 1891 living in northumberland and they are still watermen
