Thank you for that last piece of information, I hadn't looked for a birth for Emily Maria Lewis, I suppose it was an obvious thing to do really.

I think the enumerator must have lapsed slightly with his dots for this one, if you take a look at the census record - Garsdon Wiltshire RG 9/1277 (Emily Marna Lewis) it is littered with dotted i's. 

The age of the Emily Maria Lewis is the same as the Emily Marna Lewis on the census, so surely there can't be 2.

Yep!  I have a few bods with the name Maria and Jemima (don't know if you remember her).  Just can't fathom out how they may be related if at all they are. :)  I am looking for a detective to help me!!!!!!

This particular Emily Maria Lewis could be the Maria Lewis' niece.
