Can anyone help?
I am looking for the family or parents of Isabella Watson nee Jaques (widow). She married Andrew Craig at St John's Newcastle upon Tyne on 11. 3.1869.
Her father was James Jaques, a Collier.
So far, I've drawn a blank about the Jaques family

I don't know if this is the couple but there is a marriage of John Jake and Alice Twizell in Earsdon 1 July 1786.  There are other children born to them and some are as Jakes.

Well I have a transcript and you can buy those if you want--you will need to have or access to a microfiche reader.  Or you can order a parish record film from your local Family History Center (LDS)

What is on the transcript on my fiche:

1 July 1786 John Jake and Alice Twizell, both of this parish, [were married by banns] by J. Parkin O.C. witnesses were Joseph Hanson, Jon Jake

The "married by banns" is not in the notation but the whole entry comes under the marriages by banns section.
