Can anyone help
Sorry I Posted this on wrong board!

I am trying
to find Lillie Barton in 1901

She was living i 1891 in 11 Whitehorse Lane Boston age 13
I have found a marriage of Lillie Barton in Doncaster in 1904 could she be living in that area?

I would appreciate any help re her whereabouts.

I can't locate Lillie in 1901-could she be married?
Her birth reg is Lillie May Barton and she is Lillie May on 1881 census
There are several marriages of Lillie (lLily) M barton in various areas.
The 1904 marriage you found in Doncaster is only in the name Lillie Barton -and there is a Lillie Barton birth reg that area about the same time as Lillie Mays

Don't feel I'm being very helpful here, but just trying to narrow the search

Hi SuZ
Sorry I should have said I had all the family except for her in 1901, sorry for all your hard work.
She is the missing link.

No problem -I just looked for where her family were living to see if she was in the same area-I have checked all of the Lillie/Lily -with and without the "M" and she doesn't seem to be around -but thses ancestors sometimes have a crafty way of hiding.

The possibility is that she married

The possibility is that she married

For example Lily M PARKER aged 23 (wife of Ernest W) ... I can't spot a marriage for such a couple.
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

Hi geoff
That may be the way to go check out others with similar first names and also the area she lived in before marriage if that is the case.
Thanks for your input.
