Pasher / Mathews marriage
« on: Monday 19 November 07 19:27 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find marriage, and death details for Robert Pasher (b. 1859) and Elizabeth Mathews.

I believe they were born  in Newfoundland, and by 1918 when Robert joined the C.E.F., they were in Montreal.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mariages non catholiques de la région de Montréal, 1766-1899

Found this - which at least gives you a "where" and narrows down the "when" part:

DÉTAILS pour Pasher Robert

Nom époux Pasher
Prénom époux Robert
Nom épouse Mathews
Prénom épouse Elizabeth
Année 1893
Église Dominion Square Methodist Church (Montréal)
Confession Méthodiste
Pagination 5
Source Centre d'archives de Montréal, CE601,S101

In 1901 the family is "Pascher" - consisting of Robert, Elizabeth, Joseph,Littie May,Olive Ruth, albert and George Stanley.

In 1911 The family consists of Pasher Robert
Elizabeth   Lillie   Joseph    Olive    Albert    Stanley    Robert    Harold

was going to look before the marriage to get an idea of when he came to Montreal but am stuck in cyberspace.... :P again....

o.k back...didn't see him listed in 1891-1892 or 1892-1893
