Samuel THROWER

Hi

Can anyone help me please as ive hit a brick wall.

Samuel Thrower married Ann Crisp about 1823 in Suffolk. I have no idea where.
Samuel was born about 1801 in Badingham and Ann about 1796 but yet again i have no idea where in Suffolk.
I am hoping that they are the parents of Thomas Thrower born 1824 in Walberswick.

If anyone could find out if they had any more children or Samuels parents names or when he married Ann.

Any small bit of info would be very much appreciated.

How do you know that Anns maiden name was Crisp?

Can't see a Thrower/Crisp marriage on Suffolk Marriage Index. This covers 1813 - 1837.

Thomas Thrower and Susan Rackham, married in 1849 in Blything.

That must be them.

The IGI has some of the Wrentham baptisms for Samuel and Susan Rackham, but there's also one for Henry Rackham bap. 28 June 1818 in Frostenden.

The Wrentham baptisms includes one for Thomas's wife - Susan Rackham, bap 2 April 1821.

So what does their marriage cert say about Thomas's father?

Ah. I see the problem.

According to the IGI, Thomas Thrower, bap 29 Feb 1824 was the son of Samuel Thrower and Ann Crisp. It remains to be see whether "Crisp" was her middle name or whether this means Thomas was the illegit son of Samuel THROWER and Ann CRISP.
