now armed with a little more info though not much,
Robert William Bird b. 1878c  coalminer , batchelor on mar. cert , his father was George Bird occ. Farmer,
Robert was living in 26, Birchgrove Tirphil at time of mar. was his family or relatives  living  there also ?

you don't say when he married!

modified - i believe you can only do an address earch on 1881 census on ancestry or 1901 on 1901censusonline.
