Roos history
« on: Saturday 24 November 07 14:14 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have an ancestor who was a stonemason. His family lived in Hull, but I found him in Roos in 1841.
Not only that, but there seemed to be an inordinate number of stonemasons lodging (I believe) in neighbouring houses.

I've managed to learn that All Saints Church was extensively restored in 1842, and I'd appreciated any further info about the work that was done - when it started etc...

Thanks
