Ancestry query
« on: Saturday 24 November 07 18:43 GMT (UK) »
My local library has a sub to Ancestry. I presume that if I access it from there, I will be able to get the same facilities that are available to all Ancestry subs? There are a few family trees that I want to check. Can anyone confirm please? I can hardly imagine that there are two classes of subscription
E Yorks - Carver, Steels, Cross, Maltby, Whiting, Moor, Laybourn
W Yorks - Wilkinson, Kershaw, Rawnsley, Shaw
Norfolk - Carver, Dowson
Cheshire - Berry, Cooper
Lincs - Berry
London/Ireland/Scotland/Lincs - Sullivan
Northumberland/Durham - Nicholson, Cuthbert, Turner, Robertson
Berks - May

Nick, if you're using it in a library it'll almost certainly be Ancestry Library Edition, which is not quite the same as the one which individual subscribers sign up to.  I've never used it in a library myself, but if you do a websearch for Ancestry Library Edition you should come up with a number of hits which explain what it consists of.
