Stumped - anyone got any pointers? COMPLETED
« on: Saturday 24 November 07 21:54 GMT (UK) »
Hi all again.

After agreeing to do some research for a friend and tracking down the Eaglestone name on the information that she gave me - it appears her information was wrong!!

I have been looking for a George Henry Eaglestone b. September qtr 1891. The closest I have come to finding him in the 1901 census is as an inmate at a school in Sutton. I have no way of knowing at the moment if he is the right one and have been waiting for his birth certificate to arrive?

Is there anyone that can look at the census for 1901 for me and see what they can turn up?

Millions of thanks as always!

Hi Lisa,

sorry I didn't turn up a viable alternative either. The only thing I did notice was a Mary Eaglestone age 18 as an inmate in the same institution.

Hope the birth cert. helps you out as it looks like a tricky one!

Hi Heather!

Thanks for that - at least i can have a look for Mary Eaglestone in earlier census reports and see if that turns anything up!

Cheers
