Good to be back.
Sorry - senior moments still prevail.
Time frame is 1700-1850..........
Thanks for those two - I was actually going to get that PR set - but guess now I don't have to.
I have my Cornelius William WHILLANCE being born c1824 (of course, can't find anything on him - he was a Doctor)
he married Elizabeth Calston (can't find anything on her).
Now Cornelius died in Newcastle upon Tyne and Elizabeth was born c1821 at Gateshead (1851 census, can't find either of them on the 1841 census).
I am presuming that Cornelius's father is going to be a sibling of Mitchel/Michael Whillance but can't get anywhere at all with this theory.

PS -
Have searched the IGI in vain of course - there was at one time on there the birth of their son, Robert Dawson Whillance - but it showed father as Robert

Would love to get it checked, as according to the family notes, his father should have been Cornelius William Whillance.

Yep - I'm OK for the 51/61/71/81/91 etc it is just the 1841 where Cornelius is in hiding and so is Elizabeth.
It is Cornelius I dearly want to find - hoping he is not at a hospital working somewhere, as that will give me his parents (I hope
