I saw a samuel groom b c 1820 living with his dad , Joseph in 1841 in Baldock ....... there has to be a link somewhere :-\

Didn't see the whole game - other commitments pulled me away at half-time. I hear it was close. Which is more than I had hoped for when our #1 QB broke his arm last weekend.

I watched football (college) all weekend long ...thewy were fab ...both major games went into OT ...was bril .....

thanks Gar for your Ives family ...who went from Ives to Larkins to Pedleys to Grooms and Games etc .... we had a lot of fun !

I found this really old thread whilst looking for relatives. It turns out, the Sarah Ann Harris (Grubb) this is mentioned in this hunt is my Grandfathers Grandmother! I will read everything in this thread and try to fill in with other information I know a bit later...
