Alexander Morison - draper
« on: Monday 26 November 07 01:47 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for Alexander Morison baptised 28 September 1834 in Edninburgh, son of Alexander Morison (inland revenue supervisor) and his wife Helen Garnoch.

In the 1851 census for Falkirk,  Alexander Morison age 16 was an apprentice draper living in his parent's household.

Has anyone access to the 1861, 1871 and beyond census data giving details of Alexander?  Any information would be much appreciated.

thanks, marp

Many thanks for your replies, you have been really  helpful.  I see that Alexander and family emigrated to the US as he appears in the 1880 census there.  This fits in as I downloaded his father's will from scotlandspeople and it was clear from the will that Alexander the draper was not doing too well.

thanks again,  marp
