Occupation on Census
« on: Monday 26 November 07 21:29 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

The following is from 1861 census and looks to be very clear and well written BUT what is the second occupation? I have an idea of what it reads as, but it doesn't sound right. ???

Any suggestions most welcome

Thanks
Di

Di,

I've modified your message above to remove the bit the occupation that you believe  it is - just so that people can have a fresh look at the writing and see what they read it as.

It looks like "Opera Binder" to me - but I can't imagine what that would be!  ??? ???

Thanks everyone,

That's what I had in mind as well but Opera Binder doesn't make sense and I couldn't work out what else it could be.
