Can anyone tell me if Library Bank and Union Street in Tynemouth were near each other in 1871?

Can't find library bank on any map, but if you walk along Union street and turn left up Camden street, at the top of Camden street is Northumberland square where the present library is , don't know if the library has always been in Northumberland square but i would guess so....

Dont know about 1871. but in 1897 Library Bank was off  LIDDEL ST. down towards The Union Quay.  Union St. was above Liddel st. both running east to west so Library bank and Union st. were probably only 100 metres away from each other.  I have a residents and trade list for 1897
Forster, Hall, Yielder ,Robson, Corbridge and st John lee/ parishes.  also researching Harmison/Harmieson. have lots of info on above

The old library is still there at the junction of Norfolk Street and Saville St. Union St was the next Street down towards the River .  Where Hill Carters the deptment store was in the 1960s.   The Library bank was steps down from Norfolk St to Liddel St and terminated opposite the Smiths Dock (Haddock shop) where they repaired Trinity House ships and light buoys.  The top of the Library steps was the STAG Office which still exists
