Hi AndrewMartin,

we just came across your question in this blog as we are researching my wife great grand father Arthur Robert Dewey. He was a large animal veterinarian and made a total of 29 trips to North America before he decided to settle in the U.S. sometime after 1905. He had five children and settled in Springfield, Missouri.

We haven't started researching any British records. How many generations are you able to trace further back? Anything you have, would be greatly appreciated.
