Well really I'd like to know if the two sailors who died in WW1 were related to each other and their relationship to my wife.

hi
i havent looked into the family tree for sometime now due to commitments but there is an extensive arnopp tree on Genes Reunited site. my father in law was william (known as liam) arnopp, son of george and dora. there are some of that family line in suffolk, hertfordshire and some in wales.

Mr Dolan

will look into this for you - your wife's name would help me know if I have the correct family or indeed could your mother in law confrim she has a brother richard and sister mary still living in Kinsale so I won't approach the wrong family unnecessarily.
Interestingly my own great grand uncle John Gimblette (anothe kinsale hugenot name) was also killed at sea in WW1. Many Kinsale men joined the naval forces as regular navy, naval reserve sor 'trawler reserves.

I'll look into this for you anyway

best wishes

Rónán

hi Ronan
they wont let me post my email. both REMOVED are online quite alot, i believe REMOVED has some of his music online too, i will see if i can find his web address.  i'm not actively researching at the moment but my husband will be interested in any info your dad can offer.  its often the little snippets of information that are the most rewarding.  i have a photograph of george arnopp on board the hms hyacinth duirng ww1 (i think). i could post it if any of you are interested.
