Would your Locks be related to William Edward Lock who married Maria Hayter (b. 1875) in Carisbrooke in 1897?

although William married Maria Hayter on the island and had one of their children christened there, he was from Southampton, I have his details in the 1881 census if you are interested and know of another researcher/descendant of that line, regards.
